The company designs, manufactures and exports vertical balers, semi-automatic and fully automatic horizontal balers, metal balers, and agricultural baling and bagging machines from a production base in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China.

At the centre of the company's technical position is an asynchronous servo hydraulic system that uses closed-loop pressure and flow control. The system combines a motor encoder, an AC asynchronous motor, a high-efficiency vane pump and high-response pressure sensors to adjust output at each stage of the baling cycle. According to company figures, it uses about 55% of the energy consumed by a conventional hydraulic baler, draws roughly 1.5 kW per bale, and consumes about 2 kW per hour when idling between feeding cycles.

Those are company measurements rather than third-party results. NKBALER states that overall energy consumption is more than 25% below conventional machines and that reductions above 60% are achievable in some operating scenarios. No independent laboratory result supporting those figures was cited in the company's documentation.


Industry context: growth with divergent measurement

The baler market is expanding, although published estimates differ on the pace. Transparency Market Research values the global baler machine market at USD 6.6 billion in 2024 and projects USD 11.4 billion by 2035, with Asia Pacific accounting for 40.2% of 2024 revenue. Market Research Future estimates the scrap-metal baler segment alone at USD 2.172 billion in 2024, and Grand View Research puts baler presses at 24.5% of the global recycling equipment market in 2025, a share it attributes to demand for compacting plastic and paper.

Scope differences explain part of the spread. Global Market Insights values the baler market at USD 4.9 billion for 2025, while Grand View Research gives USD 7.18 billion for the same year.

On the supply side, Volza export records list China among the leading exporters of hydraulic baling presses under HS Code 8462, with 91 significant shipments recorded between June 2024 and May 2025.

Regulation is a second structural driver. In the European Union, vertical balers must comply with EN 16500:2014, which covers fixed enclosed baling chambers and tamper-proof interlocks. In the United States, commercial balers are governed by ANSI Z245.51-2013 for design and construction safety and ANSI Z245.5-2013 for installation and operation. For exporters, conformity documentation functions as a market-access requirement rather than a marketing item.

At the buyer level, bale density and press force remain central purchase criteria because higher density lowers handling and transport cost per tonne of material.
