I have been doing this for over thirty years, and I have never had a technique change my outcomes this fast. The data after one year makes the case better than I can.”

HAUPPAUGE, NY, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dr. Mark Epstein of Epstein Plastic Surgery has completed one year of the Preservé breast augmentation technique, with outcomes data now available across his full, consecutive series of 210 procedures.

Since performing the first Preservé procedure at his Hauppauge practice on September 10, 2025, Dr. Epstein has tracked every case without exception. Across 420 breasts, the twelve-month data show zero cases of Grade III/IV capsular contracture, zero infections, zero implant ruptures, and zero cases of lost nipple sensation. Two reoperations for complications were recorded in the full series, a rate of 0.4 percent.

Dr. Epstein is one of only twelve surgeons nationally trained to teach the Preservé technique to other plastic surgeons, and served as a paid investigator in the Motiva U.S. FDA clinical trial that led to the implant's approval in September 2024. He has personally trained 67 surgeons in the technique to date.

"I have been doing this for over thirty years, and I have never had a technique change my outcomes this fast. The data after one year makes the case better than I can," said Dr. Epstein.

Dr. Epstein was also named to Newsweek's list of America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2026, recognized in five categories: breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, eye lift, liposuction, and tummy tuck.

The Preservé technique is offered alongside a range of anesthesia options at Epstein Plastic Surgery, including a wide awake approach for appropriate candidates. Fifteen of the 210 procedures in the one year series were performed wide awake.

Dr. Epstein is a paid investigator in the Motiva U.S. FDA clinical trial and is compensated by Establishment Labs to train surgeons on the Preservé technique. Dr. Epstein owns stock in Establishment Labs.
